Katrina' starpower - a myth now ?

To be honest she didn't had any starpower. All her movies were big hits coz of her co stars i.e. Khans and Akki mainly.

She is also suppose to be the bigger star in her next 2 movies

Abhishek Kapoor Fitoor had a rather disappointing opening with a 15% occupancy rate. The movie, which had a screen count of 1500, however did better at the multiplexes. As per trade analysts, the only hope for Fitoor is the Saturday numbers, which is expected to take the business ahead. However, experts mention that a growth of 50% is needed for the film to have a decent start.

Sanam Re on the other hand, has a higher screen count of 2000. This factor, added to the not-so-high budget and the Saturday hike, could give it a good opening, as per trade experts.

More news on the numbers is yet awaited. However, it seems that both the movies are depending too heavily on the weekend factor. Let us wait and watch how they will fare!

Her fans were chanting "mind it you are talking about Katrina. No matter how shitty the movie is, it never failed. Star power" 😆

I predicted she would fade starting in 2014.
