I don't know what else they want us to accept 😕 but they can't accept that even if protest were small it did affect some business even if that means only adding a couple of crores here and there , may be enough to move the film from plus/semi hit to next status .

Protests r excuses, if Dilwale had released by itself then protests or no protests, ppl would have watched it since its holiday season which happens with most khans movies even though they r crappy half the time . But this time, audience had a choice, so they chose a better movie!! Now stop making excuses, both Srk and his fans, and accept that Bajirao was a better product so Dilwale lost!!

Um...too many hypothetical scenarios going on here! Protests can't be excuses as it did hurt the revenue. As for BM being a better movie, I haven't seen it but I'm sure it must be since the whole media went gaga over it. But to say content wins if given an option is a bit presumptuous as Dilwale has not only beaten BM but Star Wars too in some countries out there. So lets not get carried away by generalizing the whole thing...lol.

Another thing , If Arnab Goswami didn't discuss DW protests in newshour means protests were not major ones 😛

Exactly...if a movie getting not a release in one state can have an impact on it collections then imagine what a movie not being allowed to screen in four states can do to its revenue in the domestic market. On top of that add shows being disrupted, shows being cancelled, a whole boycott campaign on WhatsApp and twitter.

Well i am waiting for the day when forum changes its tune . looks like BM which was a masterpiece at the time of release is not a masterpiece after all as per forum 😉😆
DW is bad but BM is no masterpiece at all .

Totally...I mean it's not like Shahrukh hasn't taken direct jabs at Arnab...right...lol! Arnab is definitely one of the most righteous journalists out there so him ignoring the protests mean they didn't happen.
