Dilwale released in more countries n got extended to more countries with new years holidays advantage BB didn't had that all. And that collection of BB is only of first phase.

And no , BM is def not masterpiece but it's a better product. And ppl are in festive mood around Christmas, so they were going to watch one of the movies either way so they chose the better movie. That's why when you around clashing with another movie, you better be damn sure ur movie is upto mark...otherwise Dilwale scenario happens 😃

As for people preferring a "better" movie over the holiday period..lol! I'm guessing Christmas isn't just celebrated in India and considering the overseas business of Dilwale in many countries where it was directly clashing with not just BM but Starwars too should tell you what people preferred there. So like I said let's not generalize as there's data out there that contradicts what you just stated.

"Chotu" states like Banaras and Mangalore..lol! It didn't get a full release in Gujrat, MP, Rajasthan and Maharashtra! So many of it's shows were cancelled in other states too so from no angle was the protest just restricted to Mangalore and Banaras. In Mangalore it wasn't just banned for a few days! It wasn't allowed to run for three whole weeks or so and the cops only took it up when a woman filed an FIR. All of this stuff is out there on google but rationale obviously is not at play here..lol.

and they still believe Dilwale would have made more

just accept it SRK is staying in the 100 crore club.

HNY made 200 cr...just like PRDP made 200 cr as per Taran...When Taran gave a 200 cr for PRDP...toh kya celebration hui thee...but now same is not applicable for HNY🤓 🤣

For DUD HO...there were tonnes of excuses left right and centre...so was for Prem Ratan Dud Payo...oops PRDP under performed because it was a sanskari movie🤣...OKAY🤣...what happened to the return of Prem??
