It was one of the most awaited films of 2015. Had a wonderful cast n a brilliant director like Zoya but completely failed to leave any mark!

Nobody remembers it by the end of the year although everyone acted well.

I haven't watched it but from the reviews it appears to be Zoya's weekest film. Unfortunately good performances alone cannot save a film.

I really enjoyed the film, i watched it with my family and they loved it, not really sure why it didnt earn more, for me its quite a relatable movie with the topics of parents putting children under pressure, husband wife going through marital problems etc, so i think it left its mark in its own way

it did get its fair share of appreciation aswell

movie was trying to get to a deep message which it never got to.

scenes were half baked.

bad climax.

story was okay.

unnecessary secondary characters and their interactions rather pointless and boring.

beautiful package with zero substance such a waste of the cruise.

farhan's dialogues were the saving grace.

No doubt the film was good and the cast was also good but so many screen presence of side characters and slow moving storyline at first half was boring ...

But I like the film but not very much

Editing why the hell did Zoya give so much time to the KUTTA? I really would've loved more detail into Ayesha- Sunny's relationship! Or how Anil- shefali's character shaped up or how Ranveer anushka met!! Or even how Vikrant and his gf's chavrater ended up! But bloody KUTTA wasted that much time😡 😆

And trying to give ALL characters focus made everything messy!!

Yes Zoya went all about how she wanted to give importance to all supporting cast but she doesnt realise that in 3 hr that's not possible! You have to have a focus or it feels confusing!!

it didn't connect with the masses in India.. it was liked by people who grew up outside India, NRIs and who get dry humour..
Music was thanda too..
i liked piku more than ddd

She tried to explore all the lead four characters, and she introduced other side characters throughout the film (such as the young couple, all those different parents, and cousins, children) which led to the movie being quite muddled by the end.

I think if the movie was in the POV of one character, like Ranveer, PC, or the mom, then it would have been better. Not much chance of introspection was given to Anil's character now that I think about it.

For me the most memorable character was Priyanka's, it was a very subtle performance but she nailed it wonderfully
