And trying to give ALL characters focus made everything messy!!

Yes Zoya went all about how she wanted to give importance to all supporting cast but she doesnt realise that in 3 hr that's not possible! You have to have a focus or it feels confusing!!

Yes she messed up trying to give everyone proper screen time!
All the characters bored me except PC's n Farhan's. Too bad Farhan was wasted. Would have loved more of Farhan n PC!

Flop music...Weakest film of Zoya...Yet it still made 75 crores despite having all its buzz taken away by fast&furious as well as twmr2. It would have easily been a 100 crore film with any of the above present. It is still the 6th highest grossing movie overseas. No losses to the producers.

Execution problem.

PC during Marykom interviews told DDD is not "in-your-face" type and that'd be the highlight of the movie. Zoya wanted to show a dysfunctional family in a light hearted way yet convey the message, but it backfired. There was no impact or anything remarkable other than the performances.

Loved the film, climax could've been better though

I honestly don't know... it was a really good movie. One of the better movies of 2015 IMO.

It was a good movie in terms of performances by PC, RS, Anil, Shefali and Farhan.

It didn't clash with the movie of a superstar🤣

because Indians like clear cut/sterotypical heroes and heroines and their stories. There are very few ensemble movies that have done well in India. This was a true ensemble movie with a few popular actors playing roles.
