freedom of expression is only good in books not in practical 😡

but freedom of expression should not confined to ''CERTAIN RELIGION''.
This whole saga of intolerant india is earning bad name for india on an international platform...and the point is why aamir and other so called pseudo intellectuals are suddenly realizing about the rising intolerance. why didnt he speak about kashmiri pandits...1984 riots...why was he silent when fatwa was issued against AR rehman...
He sees flaws in Hinduism only.. wen it comes to his own community or religion then he doesnot show audacity to speak up.

But Aamir did not give any sensational opinion about Malda riots and Madrassa teacher attacked for teaching National anthem.

He wasn't asked about it, may be? And to be asked, first the journos should care enough...But alas, they only care about stirring the nation with their 'intolerance' debates and making it majority Vs Minority issue...

It is absurd to link sharukh's statement to dadri incident ...anyone who has watched the interview will know it ...Shahrukh's answer was based generally . Please have a look:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv-Sr-vv-Rc

He was asked a question by media and he anwwered it , if he would be asked a question on the incidents people mentioning here then i am sure he will answer those too , its media who does pick and choose .

He did say 'no comments' once when he was asked a question about the raising terrorism or something...Don't quote me on that one though as I don't recall exactly when and to what...

Handful. It's sad. Musilm nations and people need to join together to denounce whats going on in the world. You wonder, how the heck do some people misinterpret the religion to the degree to where they want to behead the innocent and bomb places left right and center. 🤢 Sickening.

What I have a problem with is the sheer hypocrisy and double standards of bollywood, media, writers, so-called intellectuals, secularists etc..

A riot has occurred in the last few days in West Bengal's Malda district, most people are not even aware of it because the mainstream media have completely ignored it, probably because it doesn't fit their narrative.

Just to give some background, last month, Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan called RSS members homosexuals, to which the president of Hindu Mahasabha, Kamlesh Tiwari, responded by allegedly calling Muhammad an homosexual. What happened after, Tiwari gets imprisoned, 1 lakh Muslims gather in Muzaffarnagar, demanding death penalty for Tiwari, Islamic clerics issue a fatwa to behead Tiwari, and offered 51 lakhs to anyone who would behead him.

Meanwhile, last Sunday, upto 2.5lakh Muslims joined a rally to protest against Tiwari, which quickly escalated into a riot, a police station gets torched, bus filled with passengers is set on fire, Hindu temples get desecrated, Hindu houses and property are attacked, public property and several private and government vehicles get torched, police are attacked for arresting rioters.

Meanwhile we hear that a teacher at a madrassa in Kolkata gets beaten up by the maulanas of the same madrassa for teaching the national anthem to kids!

Where is Aamir and SRK? not a single word of condemnation against acts of violence and intolerance committed by their fellow Muslims.

Aamir is nothing but a spineless gutless coward. He projects himself as this progressive liberal secular Muslim, who does social work, stays in tune with current affairs, then it's all the more important that someone like him who is projected as this role model secular Muslim to fight intolerance in their own community, but we get didly squat from him.

The worst he got for his intolerance comment was a handful of idiots who burnt his posters and told him to go to Pakistan, you didn't have lakhs of Hindus baying for his blood. I have no problem with the picture, it just highlights their hypocrisy.

F**k Aamir.

Couldn't put it better. And this is just handful of them. There are several such riots for instance take - Azad Maidan riots in Mumbai were even female cops were molested but hardly any media channel covered it just because it didnt fit into their irrespective of rising hindu fundamentalism in India. How many open letters these celeb wrote after these riots? How many statement or tweet they did criticizing the state government for their inaction?

Simple fact is people in India especially on social media had enough of the hypocrisy and pseudo secularism of such people and they are not afraid to call out people bullshit. Wo hindi mein kehte ab pani sar k upar aane laga hai. Major backlash is towards media but media plays cleverly here now because they cant garner sympathy for themselves even if they present themselves as victim so instead of doing it themselves they are using these celebs. Twisiting their statement and using it for their own gain.

But for Aamir to be on his twitter of FB, his movie should be ready for the release...Since there is no movie in the next 6 months at least, what do you expect? These are busy people who know how to use the social media to their advantage...
