I have actually seen all three interviews. The one Shahrukh did with Rajdeep in English and Hindi and the one with Barkha. He answered the questions that were asked to him. He did talk about intolerance but it was never in the context these bigots made it out to be. They basically said how dare he talk about it as he's who he's because of this country. Well, when has he ever been ungrateful for the love he has received from this country or any other country. It's a shame that someone can't talk about these issues without being questioned about how patriotic he's or he isn't. As for manipulation, I don't think there was any manipulation as they played what he talked about. The issue was they kept playing it and talking about it. But that was bound to happen as they're in the business if TRPs and Shahrukh freaking brings in tons of eyeballs for their channels. Some sections of the media took it as an insult as it suits their agenda which is why he was asked about it repeatedly. It's saddening to see that things have come to such a place where he has basically stated be won't say a word but good for him! He should do exactly that from now on as there are some bigots here who can't debate but will take violence into their hands to prove how tolerant we're!
