What do you hate about SLB's style of filmmaking?

The only thing which gives me pain in SLB films is the the lack of footage and role given to Sonam in saawariya

its too slow and the story is complicated to understand...

there is no happy endings in his films...only sad endings that depress me...

the only good things abt his films music...lavish sets...he brings the best out of his leading actors...

melodramatic, always tragic ending😭and no rustic raw real feel,everything is just too grand too beautifully arranged , comes off as prechoreographed,reharsed, practiced.,no instant wala feeling ki ye character jo bol raha hai ye dilse usi moment use jo laga uss hisab se bol raha hai.Even scenes me if you see all the diyas are arranged with particular same distance, ab jo heroine hai usne thori scale use krk lagwaye honge woh diye in the film.But yeah his films are very eyepleasing.

Except for HDDCS and BM, all SLB movies are trash. I couldn't even sit through Devdas. What an insult to my senses.

Everything his movies are artistically pleasing but lacks any substance. Comes across fake and pretentious, the only movie of his I liked was Khamoshi felt so real.

I just love the visuals ... but the actual storytelling, character development is almost always crappy ...

Even BM was strictly ok ... i feel bec it competed against a rubbish dilwale, it sort of got elevated to a great film by default ...
