Why is industry not supporting SRK for dilwale?

Dilwale is 10 times less crappy than HNY and dozens of horribly trashy movies done by "other superstars" in recent years, which still made money inspite of being much crappier than DW.

People are pretending now as if crappy movies never become hits in BW and ONLY content movies do well every year! What a joke!

This online campaign against Dilwale was a well planned and executed plot to bring down his movie for both political purpose and some groups' hate agenda against SRK.

Observing the BO numbers breakup by circuit and region proves that states like Rajasthan, Bihar, where BJP bhakts are the most active is where DW got surprisingly low figures inspite of being a mass entertainer. These are regions where otherwise much trashier movies have done very well in recent years.

Whereas in non BJP circuits like WB, Nizam, Kerala, TN, etc, DW did exceedingly well although states like WB and Kerala traditionally prefer more content based movies. If these states liked it means obviously DW wasnt as trashy as the smear campaign alleged.

Actually this online smear campaign is a very dangerous trend as there will be repercussions and no movie will be spared from negative campaigning by rival groups. 😈

As for industry not supporting SrK, they are all a bunch of cowards, they dont want to be targeted by the Sena brigade next...and also SRK actually has more enemies in BW than friends as he doesnt belong to any BW family.

how are you ignoring it?

this time a crappy movie released with an acclaimed one..so people chose the acclaimed one and rejected the crappy one since they had a CHOICE..how hard is it to understand?😕

So Salman's, Akshay's, Ajay's crappy movies can be forgiven and digested just because they were released SOLO? What a Logic! 😲

And SRK will be constantly bashed and made fun of because his supposedly crappy movie (DW wasnt half as crappy as some other Solo releases) didnt make enough money because of CLASH and Protests? GREAT! 👏

So ALL this boils down to this...if a crappy movie is released SOLO and makes MONEY because people didnt have any other better choice then that movie and actor is forgiven and ALL IS WELL. 😕

So basic principle here is MAKING MONEY, not CONTENT!

Arey we know business suffered because of clash and protests ...that is what we are discussing on this thread. 😆

But the question is why isnt BW industry supporting SRK at all...why are they so silent abt theater shutdowns and business of DW being affected?

Isnt that a loss for the industry too? 😕 Are they ALL afraid of the Sena or are they just enjoying SRK's bashing?

Anyway if DW had released Solo, it would have made double the money, notwithstanding content. Provided Sena thugs would not attack it on a solo release too.

i don't think even during pk protests..not many voiced out their opinions

but yes whether the movie us good or bad..creative liberty is a must and these protests should not be supported..strict action has to be taken against these protests which comes in the way of artistic liberty which every artist should enjoy

People need to understand that this is an issue that is extremely grieve and no sane person in their right frame of mind will like to comment on such touchy topic that will bring them severe blacklash

for example... Priyanka made a mere small statement of how actors are not allowed to express themseleves freely and that they have right to be politically incorrect sometimes BUT STILL she was bashed by BJP supporters and so called pseudo intellectuals despite not naming word 'Modi' 'India'or 'Intolerance' in her statement

Other words - No one wants to risk their reputation and stardom

nd SRK fans should remember... merely anyone came in open to support Aamir also! Same reason

Having said that had Dilwale been a quality film then I would have agreed that BW should have come out in support.. but thats not the case! No need to encourage such a below average product'

Sorry but I'm glad that Dilwale underperformed.High time Srk should stop doing films which has no good story.SRK-Kajol are a great jodi but that doesnt mean the film will become a super duper hit.Just bcoz RS gave SRK a BB like CE that doesnt mean every film of his will be A BB.The film is not doing well maybe cause it was removed from so many theaters but still SRK should stop doing movies without a good script. I am waiting for Raees and Fan.And I hope what we expected from Dilwale,these both movies will do double than that.
