People are not open minded enough to accept flaws. Indians love their culture and strictly want to maintain it even if some parts of it are wrong. Like ML Sharma said, "We have the best culture. In our culture, there is no place for a woman." Sounds great, huh? A lot of desis have this mentality that their culture is the best culture, and if anyone says anything against it, they will protest. Shahrukh was right and those people who want to boycott his films are only proving him right even more.

Another problem is when and if someone says something.
everyone will just jump on them or get defensive..
That's not gonna solve anything.

I agree. I personally know many educated people, my uncle being one, who are trying to spread this boycott drama. It's so embarrassing.
If you don't like someone's statement fine, but unintentionally these people actually prove that the statement was correct.
When I went to go watch dilwale on Friday there were police vans stationed outside the theatre.
There were people in some area that were afraid to go watch the movie in case a riot starts.
These dumb politicians and people are actually proving SRK right by doing all this.

Anyways, there are idiots everywhere. I don't understand how these people have nothing better to do than protesting about such stupid things.

well yeah but there are lots of benefits that i have and my friends dont have living in usa..

like affording driver, maid, cooks, getting food and medicines delivered at my door...ablw to see evry indian cricket match when i want...attneding all the weddings and functions of my family...meeting my friends and family whenever i feel like...i dont have to apply for tedious H1B visas and depend on other country's lottery to be able to make myself live there...

so yes i would say india is a much better place to live but only and only if u have a decent degree and income.

no offence to anyone :):)

They represent not even 1% of population. Most people strive, work hard or study hard for survival at the life style one wishes or one can possibly afford. So generalization begets nothing!!
But yea there has been increasing levels of intolerance to views and opinions in general among people. For wierd reason , my way or highway is the current way.

Disrupting a movie is hindering democracy at several forms ...One right of stars to provide opinion and other fundamental right of citizen will!! Proves SRK's point and worsens it

And also internationally potrays untrue petty picture of India !!!..Ugh hate these idiots!!
