Johnny Gaddaar is Class, One of the best ever.

SRK love making thrillers under his production but nothing has been standout. Ittefaq was great but was a remake.

At least it was the remake of a Hindi movie...although the Yashji version (1969) was the adaptation of a US movie made after a theatre play... smiley1smiley36

Badla, too, was a remake (from a Spanish original).

Yet Love Hostel was an original, I think. I liked it a lot (with Sanya Malhotra, Vikram Massey as the chased couple and Bobby Deol as the killer).

Bard of Blood, the spy thriller RCE made, also is an original, an adaptation of Bilal's book.

Bobby's 'comeback' as actor, Class of 83, also is a book adaptation...but that are not remakes.

As for other Hindi thrillers:

I liked Monica, Oh My Darling a lot (black comedies often are thrilling)...and also Alia's and RedChillies Darlings.

But yes, far too many aren't originals...
