There are prior cases like this in India where the guy has been indicted on charges of false promises of marriage made to exploit the girl and later on inciting her to commit suicide. Watched some real cases like this on Crime Patrol.

this is sheer bullshit...most of these cases are always false accusations...made her pregnant??? made her abort the baby???

thye had mutual sex nd accordin to jiah khan's letter,she herself aborted the baby...moreover even if we believe the CBI version, then also no mother can undergo abortion b force..is it practically impossible...she has to give her written consent...

why did she sleep with sooraj just because he said he will get engaged with her???

any normal sensible girl would sleep with a guy hen she wants to sleep with him and not on some stupid pormise...she did everythg on her will only then why this abbetment of suicide...she was weak and she died...it her her personality...no one should be guilty for it.

The reason that noone else is finding these texts abusive is because they are not going through depression.. jiah was already in depression post her abortion.. she was in a very fragile state of mind and in such state even a simple get out seems like a death sentense and the fact that he was not talking to her at such a time could very well have been the f8nal nail in coffin.. in my opinion everyone abeted her suicide from her mother to suraj.. her mother for not being there when her daughter needed her and suraj fir putting her in that depressive state

CBI has charged him for abetting in her suicide. If you think hes not guilty that is your opinion.

You seem to be taking this personally. 😕

According to you, Sooraj had no involvement in this...how come? When he was the guy who was involved with her, of course he has a hand in her untimely death as well. He doesnt get a free pass for this. He promised her marriage, then went back on the promise, he betrayed her trust, so of course hes responsible to some extent. Let the court deal with this.

As a person who has people ard going through domestic violence case in the US I am extremely sad by the reaction some of the people here have.

Some have even mocked here which makes me feel extremely furious and sad.

And some people indirectly support this guy because he was launched by their fav.

An abuser knows his prey very well ( believe me I know having dealt with few).He makes her feel unworthy of anything.Strips her off her self confidence. And the victim trying to please,having invested time and hoping for him to change falls for it.

Then the abuser feels powerful and behaves however he wants.

Jia was repeatedly humiliated.

Jia had no support system and must have felt guilty after the abortion.

Nobody can make anyone abort.I do not believe this.

My fren in the US who is a citizen aborted.

Jiah might have been depressed after all the abuse or her depression might have worsened which she might have already been suffering from.

Under normal circumstances it maybe ok for people to speak like the above txt msgs but her case was different.

The use of the word "f**k" wasn't the reason she killed herself.

Don't want to support Jiah please don't ..But don't mock her.
