i have not seen the complete movie yet but deepika was magical in what ever i saw till now

she is i guess the only one who is a total package

sonam is a joke..some one whose repulsion power is so huge to even make a salman starrer underperform..imagine what she would have done here

rest are not total package

sonakshi is a decent actress and looks classical but she would have been ill suited to play an urban role imo

shradha is pretty but acting needs improvement

others like anushka can act decent but lack looks

Totally agree with you.

Loved both of their performances in the movie, must say Ranbir & Deepika are amazing.

Deepika as u said seriously looks beautiful in all ways.

She can draw a huge crowd to the theatres 😊

W*F? RK-DP have a lot of fans, the chemistry is the factor which most of the audience went to see, not only DP. DP has had tremendous growth but she was not carrying this movie on her shoulders, it was banking on the chemistry/lead pair. Both are getting equally good reviews.

Mintyblue, no offense, but your DP obsession is a little too much. She is not a Khan that people will go to watch movies just because of her, neither is she Katrina.

Despite having good actors like Shahid and Kangy, why do u think Shaandaar and KB flopped?? The reason is simple.. Audience need to connect with the screenplay in order for WOM to increase and help the film sail through.. Stars are there for the opening day/weekend business.. After that its the film's screenplay that has to be good to do good business..

I understand u are a huge DP fan, although I know its your right to write glowing reviews for her, its not fair if u write it in a way as if thats the truth, which I believe its not.. DP is decent actress now definitely,especially comparing with her past.. But she still has more to conquer to reach the standards of PC, Kangy.. Same time, it would be unfair to dismiss RK's contribution.. He is a good actor, just got lost with all over hype, but he is good..

Alot of reviews mentioned that DP was missing onscreen for a whole chunk of the second half, I guess that could have slightly dented the business, DP fans who went to watch the film for her would have beens disappointed and pointed it out on social media, that could have stopped some DP fans from going.. I don know how true this is, but yes one thing I will never deny is DP is hugely popular and so fans being disappointed is understandable..

the script Tamasha is weak...complicated and dark...its not for everyone's taste...but i loved it becos i could relate to it since the fact is our daily life does relate to ved's life...

i agree DP is a lucky charm for RK...i will say they are the iconic couple of BW...though ex-flames but on-screen one can't feel that they parted ways...they have some serious chemistry going on...on-screen...very natural chemistry...they bring out the best from each other...

no actors/actress would have done justice Ved-Tara except for RK-DP...they nail their characters with perfection...what amazes me that such a weak dark script...they made it look good and ease with their performance and chemistry...

what works for Tamasha is the chemistry and performance of RK-DP...

Tara is just written for DP...she is the soul of the film...even though the film belongs to RK...

for me...Tamasha worked due RK-DP chemistry and performance...

Would this film work had Ranbir-Deepika not been ex-lovers?

The film was average and to some it may be a masterpiece but I found it neither inspiring nor entertaining.

Deepika is a major attraction for the film since she is currently one of the leading actresses. More than Ranbir and Deepika individually, I think people want to watch this for them as a pair. Their offscreen tamasha helped as well.
