Now that the trailers of Bajirao and Dilwale have been released...

Deepika is looking like an even stronger contender. Even Priyanka was outstanding and her role seems to be significant too.

Also, Kajol, although her role seems to be small, she makes a strong impact.

Also, Filmfare for some reason dislikes her. She has been snubbed for literally every great role she's done. I still can't believe that PC didn't even get critics award for Barfi or Mary Kom at FF.

Agreed! She was brilliant as Ayesha. She totally at least deserves Best Supporting along with Shefali for that.

I disagree.

Priyanka has won:

2003 - Best Female Debut (Andaaz)

2004 - Best Villain (Aitraaz)

2008 - Best Actress (Fashion)

2011 - Best Critics Actress (7 Khoon Maaf)

That's 4 awards! That's more than Sridevi. Hema Malini only has 2. An icon such as Rekha has 4.

From her contemporaries who came after her, only Vidya has more (with 5).

I do believe her 2 best roles were Barfi + Mary Kom (but that's just the way the cookie crumbles). 2014 was a tough year... I still can't choose between Rani/PC/Kangs/Alia.

And even 2012 was mega tough. I personally thought Sridevi deserved the awards.

But worry not, I feel PC will be around for a very long time.

Coming back to PC... IF she wins Best Supporting Actress for BM, she will hold a record for 5 awards in 5 different acting categories!
