Actors go through personal attacks everyday, these guys have it easy compared to what actors face.

How stupid to blame the critics if a movie works or not. There are movies who are getting worse reviews but still people going to watch. The audiences decides after the trailer if the movie looks good and if a known star is in it its a big plus. So adding the music to the fuel will increase the hype. They tried to promote the movie through storys like it will go to cannes to increase the hype but failed after it was announced that they are not going and also named martin Scorsese and his editor everytime. Tried to push the chemistry with Anu and Ranbir while there wasnt anything to see in the trailer. They have tried to do an agressive PR of the movie but the blinds gave the first signs that the movie was pretty much bad made. So The Posters and so on was pretty bad. And if you consider that it is a period film so they actually had to put much more effort to get the audiences interested but they completely failed. Trailer was bad, terrible casting choices ( dont get offended yes they are good actors but you need to fit in for the roles even Hollywood takes aduitions of good actors to see if they would fit in the part or not) and the music was not interesting enough.
If i feel bad than its Dibakir if there was a bigger star maybe his movie would have made more money but at least he stand to the fact to cast the actor who fit the bill and not for starpower. His trailer looked more promising and interesting than BV and even he chosed different kind of music but still his was more intersting.
