Anyhoo, it doesn't matter if you're ecstatic or applauding the movie. I just stated my observation. If it bothers you, you can go ahead and disagree with my views.

Apun not serious 😎. Apun love fights 😆

All the Feminists or rather FEMINAZIS here are no better than these Religious Political Parties like RSS and Shiv Sena who stoop down to gunda gardi when someone doesn't share same belief as them 🤣
If I needed the SUPPORT of so called men of this forum whom I do not even know, I would have posted this on a site like Facebook because it is dominated by men. By your childish logic, I would have got more LIKES 😆

India Forums is full of women and most of them are like @anonymous who have nothing better to do than cry about ATYACHAAR against women in every post. And shun those who have different views.

I wanna ask, how many people here liked QUEEN? I guess everyone. Didn't that movie show that an Indian guy left his new bride because she was not of his standard and then she discovered her true self and later he came back to her but she rejected him. Did anyone say that not all Indian men are like that douchebag? Then why can't people support movies like PKP2 where 3 innocent men are wronged by 3 lame women?

And again and again doing personal attacks will only strengthen my point.

^Seriously it's the most hilarious thing.

Being proud of a male favoring movie from BW! Now I'm seen it all.

Actually I lurked on Golu's post history for 5 minutes and she spends all her time watching indian serials. I came across her supporting laws that say forced sex (aka rape) is okay in a marriage. She also said storylines that focus on women's empowerment are (rightfully) making TRPs fall.

So... that doesn't leave much to say.😕

You still don't understand simple concepts, do you? Nobody even cares about the movie!

They can make whatever they want and frankly all BW movies favor men so whatever.

People have problem with the way YOU have characterized women and feminism and your constant bashing of women and bizarro obsession with women who allegedly make men give their subway seats, etc.

You even started off whining from your first post "all men are not rapists!!!" Who even said they were in the first place?!! You make your own fake strawman arguments and knock them down and then say "feminazis" as an answer to everything.

Just so they know.. I am a girl and I find hardcore feminism stupid. So no, not all 'men' are agreeing with the TM.
There is a difference between strong feminists and abusing feminazis. I have respect for the former.

This thread has gone out of hand 😆 Truth is if there are girls who take feminism too far and file fake dowry cases, there are also those who are ruthlessly discriminated till date and denied basic rights..Similarly if there are MCPs who love controlling women, there are also those guys who really respect women and have no issues playing second fiddle to their wives/girlfriends..Generalization is bad both ways..And please lets not get personal because someone thinks in a certain way..Our beliefs and ideologies are shaped based on our life experiences and ppl around us..Lets not get judgmental here and just agree to disagree 😆

Hmmm, interesting.

I won't go into the feminism debate but few observations from my end.

1) When #MyChoice released, there was so much uproar not only by men but even by a huge chunk of women. Both genders came forward and spoke up against the video cuz many bits of the video were outright ridiculous.
2) Even this movie that has just as many ridiculous generalizations. Throughout the thread, no man has come forward to speak up against the generalizations. Instead they are applauding including some of the women. Since when did two wrongs make one right ?

Anyhoo, you found the movie entertaining, sure go ahead. Movies are a means of entertainment. But applauding a movie that is generalizing all women is definitely not the display of equalist or feminism IMHO. Yes, if someone is acting like a bitch or a MCP, go ahead and call them out, but I am definitely not game when it comes to generalizing the genders.

3) how many men speak up against the Khan trend in the bollywood ?.. how many men applaud the rise of female centric films ?.. Many men on this forum do speak up against the usual misogynistic standards of bollywood ..

But if your views strictly limited to PKP ( this thread ) , i am sorry you are disappointed .. but it is indeed "Finally a movie that FAVOURS guys in modern day relationships!"
.. the usual masala films though dominated by male actors while reducing female actors to mere props do not show men in the best light .. films like CE , RamLeela etc are exemptions since the female actresses were given equal scope.. i am mostly talking about Salman films here .. also , men are mostly stereotyped as jerks when it comes to relationships anyways & it is well reflected in movies as well ..

Also , the fact remains that this site's majority population is female , so the proportion of diverse opinions among men of this forum vis-a-vis women on this forum naturally wont be balanced ..

Are you sure about such a claim ?
Too bad I ain't into posting links. But pick any thread about India and rape and you'll have many women if not all agreeing, not all men are douches/rapists.

And what's with the tit for tat ? Are you telling me dissing one set of stereotypes while appluading another is going to help bring equality ?
