I know he doesn't compose the kinda songs he did in the 90s and early 2000s but he is still one of the best out there..He still comes up with those magical numbers every once in a while and stuns you like only he can <3

Ok seems like he is giving fab music in south but most of us agree that in bollywood everyone miss that flavour he used to have...i strongly feel he should work again with the old amazing singers like chitra, all songs of chitra sung in bollywood for rahman have been truly gorgeous, ditto for sadhana sargam and kavita krishnamurthy, he should not follow what the trend is...he should continue on his own. Though I truly believe he still has the potential to give amazing numbers and tunes.

Love OK Kanmani songs too. Havent heard Kadal songs, gotta check it out.

His latest in Hindi , Highway and lekar hum dewana dil , are good albums. LHDD is so underrated. It has a bunch of amazing songs.

ARR always made absolutely mesmerizing music in Tamil which he later used in Hindi movies. N he always makes music for different kind of movies in Hindi so I guess he is doing it less now.

Lol lekar hum deewana dil has ht song Qawalli please pardon me but it doesnt look from anywhere it composed by rahman it looks like a cheap b grad3 tune, no wonder the album nd film tanked without a trace.

IN HIGHway, the only song that touches ur heart is heera, m talking abojt the nelodious parts not pataka guddi or other type osf songs...in bollywood his stature isnt that what he used to and he seems like he isnt soing much hindi films either though still he has a good hand on melody
