If a relationship ends on a non dramatic mutual agreement it is possible for the two to remain friends or friendly. Especially if that relationship wasn't serious and they were no expectations of life long commitment, and I'm assuming that was the case with him and Nicole Meyer since both were young, starting their careers, and one wasn't living in India permenantly. Besides, Alia follows Ali Dadarkar as well.

I'm not trying to make an argument for or against Sid and Alia dating or not. I'm just saying there is nothing to read into him, or her, or anyone else following their exes on social media.
