Exactly a cute pic. He even cross as a calm n nice person in his interviews but his case n whole jiah khan scenario put me off n I feel Fr jiah n her family :(

@taran_adarsh: #Hero has a GOOD opening weekend, with biz stabilising on Sunday. Fri 6.85 cr, Sat 6.62 cr, Sun 7.73 cr. Total: 21.20 cr. India biz.

Really it has Meenakshi bath scene?Didnt know that.

Film grew on Sunday but only by slim margin and collected 7.75 cr nett. Film has total of 21.22 cr nett in three days and it will go down on Monday by this trend and will struggle on weekdays unless it beats the trend today. Film has weekend total of 3.75 cr in overseas.

HERO Had Decent Weekend

'Hero' is releasing today which is a remake of super hit film from 80''s and this one is backed by none other than super star Salman Khan featuring debutantes Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. Film is directed by Nikhil Advani who has really bad track record at box office with epic duds like 'Salam E Ishq' and 'Chandani Chowk To China'.

Film has huge pre release buzz thanks to super star producer and high decibel marketing. Film is a solo release plus 'Welcome Back' has slowed down on weekdays so it has good chance to score if it gets good reviews. But sadly not so good reviews have started pouring in already which makes weekend even more important.

Film took a decent start in mass areas around 40% but urban centers average to below average with 30% occupancy. Overall this 35% start was good for a film starring newcomers but this needed to hold next day followed by big growth over weekend. Film collected 6.85 cr nett on day one. Film had mixed reviews and as we predicted film did not grow on day two.

It collected only 6.62 cr nett and that is not a good sign. Film grew on Sunday but only by slim margin and collected 7.73 cr nett. Film has total of 21.20 cr nett in three days and it will go down on Monday by this trend and will struggle on weekdays unless it beats the trend today. Film has weekend total of 3.75 cr in overseas.

Hero has shown a considerable drop on its first Monday. According to early estimates Hero 4th day box office collection will be 3.20 crore.

After a decent opening weekend, Sooraj Pancholi starrer has a big drop today. The occupancy in the morning shows was very poor. Though the film did improve a little as the day progressed. It almost crashed in North India where Welcome Back took over it and will have better collection than Hero.

Hero box office collection in 4 days will be 24.40 crore.The first week is looking to finish around 30 crore. From second week, it will be dependent on the performance of other releases.

The decent opening weekend was mainly due to the presence of Salman Khan and hit music. From Monday, the word of mouth came into play and thus film showed huge drop which means that film has not been liked by the audience.

The opening weekend of Hero and Tiger Shroff's Heropanti were same but Heropanti has a better hold on Monday and on later days too. On the other hand Hero collection has shown a big drop.

It will continue to show slight drop on later days too. Though the low budget of the film will save it as it will recover its cost.

Hero has struggled on Monday with business set to drop more than 50% from day one. The collections may touch 3 crore nett but that won't really be good enough. The collections in some circuits were not not so strong on the weekend and they have seen a noticeable fall on Monday. The areas that performed well like CP Berar, Rajasthan, Gujarat etc will see a normal drop in the 50% region.

The four day total of the film will be around 23.75 crore nett and the week will finish at around 30-31 crore nett which is a respectable for this film but due to the trend it will be will tough after the first week..

Heropanti a similar film released last year grossed around 4 crore nett on Monday and it came off a similar weekend in terms of the weekend number and the trend. That is the sort of number that Hero needed on Monday but it will end around 1 crore short.
