If you dont know any thing about the film..budget, trends etc.

and if you think the film opened as trade expected,multiply the day 1 number by 8 for openings less than 10 crores and multiply by 7 if the trade expected opening is above 10 crores.(adjust holiday figures).That is how distributors calculate their expected returns when buying a film..

For unexpected high/low openings/sequels/khan films..some adjustments are needed...
