Here in US, in the room full of Goras and Desis. When I see Pakistani or Bangladeshi -- the first feeling is.. They are apne in this bunch of people.

It is just natural. No matter what you can always relate to a Desi more than others.

I have a Pakistani friend too. And we talk regularly on whats app. We became friends on IF. 😊

There is this Youtube channel guy. ZaidAli. When I watch his videos of brown people, I always relate to them. It doesn't matter he is Pakistani. And I also like watching Pakistani shows.

The argument that was going on from last 2-3 days in the forum, was coz of some extremists. When you give everything a communal angle. Then.. it is bound to happen.

Never met a Pakistani in my life. Whatever interactions I've had is through IF. And I can vouch that most of them are nice, tolerant people except for a few and these few exceptions are in every community/nationality.

LMAO. Whenever i am late and there is a long ass line (mostly for movie screeners and clubs) I go up to the line and then look for desi people and then ask them to let me stand with them so that i can get in. 😆 It NEVER fails. I tired once or twice asking African American / gora people and they turned me down saying that i have to go to the back of the line, but you see desis and start speaking hindi and you are in.

I think North Indians relate more to Pakistanis than they do to Bangladeshis. I cracked up whenever I heard that daadi speaking in Punjabi in the two eppies of 'Aun Zara' that I watched. She was so freakin' funny!!
I have both Pakistani & Bangladeshi friends IRL. Even after I moved back, I've kept in touch with them & see them whenever I visit. We just don't discuss politics EVER. But then it's the same in one's own country too. Even your best friend may not hold the same political views & you end up arguing over it. Aur phir jab border beech mein ho toh yuddh bhi bada hoga. And yes, you are right...the arguments started when things were given a communal color & Modi, rapes, caste system & God knows what else was dragged in. The same was done by our side too. And there's no guarantee these won't happen again.

In my experience, Pakistanis relate more to Indians than Bangladeshis. We have more in common with the Indians especially the north indians and plus there is too much hostility shown by the Bangladeshi people towards Pakistanis. I mean c'mon, its been more than 40 years, let it go already.

We become over sensitive when it comes to religion and country. We all go beyond out of control and start throwing digs at each other. First these topics are not need to be brought by anyone as it only create hatred between two.. freedom of speech and respect other's opinion is different thing but no body will tolerate when it will come to its religion or country .
Chutiye like saeed and shiv sena do not represent Pakistan or India but its us who add beauty to both nation. I have alot of Indian friends (best friends) and we never got into fights over country.. when pak lost to India in this wc, even i was dancing with them (bhangra you know 🤣). I know we all Pakistani were upset but we couldnt changed it.. i always admire indian cricket team.. at the end we should respect each other..

Calling names like disgusting, terrorist, its an insult to compare to Pakistan blah blah is not kool yoo.. we are equally as human being as other nationalities.. we are proud to be a Pakistanii yes we have problems in our system but no body is perfect..i think first we need to change ourselves then we should think about others. We pakistani are equally as respectable as Indians..

Lets make a peace out and move on.. people like saif, hamza and shaan are the reason we fight like cat and dog..

Yes, our North Indian esp Punjabi customs, except for the religious ones, are almost the same. Some rituals for the bride & groom after they get married are exactly similar to ones followed by Punjabis in India. And I guarantee you, our Daadis are exactly the same! 😆 😆 Gosh! I loved that 'Aun Zara' Daadi so freakin' much. Her Punjabi dialogues were a hoot & a half. 😆
The Bangladeshis I've met aren't as hostile to Pakistan but yeah...some are. Wounds still fresh for some. When 65+ years of Indo/Pak aren't enough to resolve issues, Pak-Bangla thing is just 40 yrs old. So it'll take time. Besides, vested interests make sure some wounds never heal. And that goes for India, Pak & Bangladesh. The history is too messed up.
