I love the concept of Big Boss and I am currently watching Big Brother which has been quite interesting until now.
My biggest problem with Big Boss is the importance of cat and dog fights. All they do is create drama and fight like vultures. The food shortage and food fights are the worse. Then they also reveal to the contestants how they are being perceived outside, which ruins the gameplay. Contestants act
pretentious and different immediately. It ruins the show.
There is no strategic gameplay in Big Boss, unless you count Gautam Gulati crying and playing the victim in every other episode last season. It is all about creating drama, gaining sympathy, and staying in the game, which gets boring after a while, as it is so predictable and repetitive. They need to introduce competitions for head of household, introduce random twists that throw contestants off the loop and challenge them, as that makes the game more interesting.
I actually liked Salman last year on Big Boss, but he needs to stop revealing to the contestants how they are doing in the house and also quit the morality, because he is always biased and then people wonder why he is criticized. He was biased about Tanisha being the victim, while being ignorant to a lot of shit by Armaan Kohli. Likewise last year he never said anything to Puneet, who was the f**king bully in the house, while he was giving pointers to Gautam about his crocodile tears.
All of the contestants are grown adults they can handle the heat. There is no need to take one side and act unbiased or arrogant that as the host he knows what the whole nation is thinking. The nation is not asking him to speak on the nation's behalf. As a host he is expected to remain unbiased. He needs to quit picking sides. That's not his job. He can be as sarcastic and witty as he wants (I like that).
And yeah the contestants need to stop the constant sucking up to Salman 🤢 And they need to stop bringing useless celebrities promoting useless movies on the show. I am not sure if I will watch Big Boss this year. I am so over the drama. But if the contestants are interesting, then I might check it out.
