In ABCD, we cant attribute its sucess to Sharadha or Dancing and hit franchise. Its only due to Varun.

But Ek Villain worked due to Sharadha and Music but not Sid..

Similarly Varun's Dharma movies are carried by Varun. Where as Sid's dharma movies are carried by Dharma prod, not Sid.

Though Brothers sucess/opening is only due to Akki not SID, Diwale opening major part will be due to Varun.

I honestly think Shraddha deserves TONS of credit for ABCD2's openings.

and Lets be honest... the kind of hype generated by Sun Saathiya is more than any of Varun's solo/only Varun + group's performance videos!

ABCD itself was a very popular movie...that is why its sequel was made in the first place.

^ I think Remo made incredibly intelligent movies with ABCD2

ABCD 1 was popular enough, and he knew he wanted a superhit movie out of the sequal, so he roped in Shraddha and Varun and retained the original dancer cast, made Shraddha do stuff like Sun Saathiya, made Varun train for like half a year, and the results were fantastic.

I don't usually laud formulaic approaches but Remo deserves proper credit 👏

Varun has a far better record than Sid. Lets give credit where it is due. If EV's success is attributed to Sid, then why can't Varun claim the success of ABCD2?😕

And Varun has also got much more critical appreciation than Sid has managed to get in all his movies till now.

There are more examples of sequels to popular films flopping than becoming hits. So saying that ABCD2 was a hit only because it was a sequel or that it featured hit songs makes no sense.

😆 this is a joke!
Abcd was hit bcz of sequel lol so varun and shraddha ko moongfali bechne ke liye liya tha movie me? Replace varun with less popular actor movie would not hv been same but replace ARK with sid in EV movie would hv earned few more crores for sure
