Well, if the movie is scripted keeping HR- kareen in mind of the writter/director, then it goes to ranveer-DP, then to salman and then to Varun and Alia..
Forget abt the movie... what the hell wud have happened to script? Those r not just names.. they have diff. personas and acting capabilties.

Karan M directed Agneepath very well.. one the best violent revenge drama of late.. where hero is just next door guy and villains r so powerful.. some of the scenes were chilling in the spines.. totally diff. from original Agneepath where bigB enters and a goon piss in his pants.

Yet to see Brothers.. but too much crying in action movies, no-no. I wud rather cry with my son... mimicking him.. "STOP IT DADYYY.. MOMMM... DADYY IS COPYING ME... UHUHUHUHUH" 😆

Don't mind the idea of Varun-Alia swapping Shuddhi in for Kalank. Even though I found 2 states lengthy and boring, I'm scared about Shuddhi. High budget and Karan Malhotra seems to have lost all credibility as a director, the risk factor just got even higher.

Bollywood is horrible in copying movies. They get few right but few goes easily wrong. From what I heard they put too much family drama into Brothers and a lot of first half was unnecessary.
One bad movie doesn't make a director bad. Time will tell if the movie works or not.

Even The Dark Knight was full on jinxed and everything.

Going off of this...I think the reason the dharma ship is going down is that KJo isn't involved/committed to it...He's been judging reality shows, been on cooking shows, was in Bombay Velvet, basically he's putting himself in front of his PH.

Either this this the reason the ship is sinking or
this is his version of jumping off before the ship sinks 😆

I think two things can happen now...Shuddhi will be swapped by Kalank and Varun-Alia will do that instead. Its significant how the buzz about the movie started the day Brothers released.
But KJo's ego is also involved in Shuddhi..else he would have shelved it ages ago. So he might go ahead and make it no matter what. I mean I expected ADHM to be shelved but that didnt get shelved either.

Shuddhi is some reincarnation love story with tribal backdrop, written by 'genius' malhotra couple who couldn't even copy paste a masterpiece properly, script has been changed nth times thanks to neverending cast changes...then it requires bulk dates of 200 days with 1 month prep time and to top it all the jinx tag by media & curse of so many fandoms😆...gosh this sounds like one of its kind mess...I hope Varun has some 'Sadhbuddhi' damn this Shuddhi
