So Karan Malhotra majorly screwed up Brothers..the reviews are awful and the film isn't doing so well commercially either according to BOI.

Is KJo willing to risk Aloo baby's career with Karan Malhotra now? 😲

So HR probably had more foresight and opted out 😆 He'l give her Kalank, Gauri Shinde's next, Hirani's next, Rajamouli's next and even Steven Speilberg's next if possible and compensate..So what if one dairy milk is lost? He'l give her 10 other kitkats in return 😛😆

Shuddhi is jinxed. Kuch na kuch roda aa hi jaata hai. I don't think that movie would ever be made..

I honestly think he should drop the movie period, but he's been considering this movie for so many years so I don't think he'll let it go.

To me Shuddhi is the next Heroine

You mean to say, he'll make the film anyways...and all these other films are cushions for Aloo if Shuddhi meets the same fate as Brothers or worse?

Given KJo's track record of ruining all good directors (*cough Kashyap Vikas Bahl*), I'd be very worried about Gauri Shinde's next or all of the ones you mentioned. 😆

Shuddhi is written by Karan Malhotra and his wife Ekta. KJo cannot ditch Karan M but keep the project. He'll either have to ditch the whole thing, or take a chance and go forward with the project with the Malhotras. And if the story really is about reincarnation then it's a much riskier storyline than family drama and MMA.

Pretty sure Karan will make sure Shudhi a hit..It needs good music and good promotions to beat Brothers..Karan hardly cared for Brothers..But with Shudhi, he wont ever be indifferent 😆 And you have Varun Dhawan who goes crazy promoting his films and Alia so am sure it'l do better than Brothers if it ever gets made..Am confident 😎

About the quality, well Karan ruins brilliant directors but Karan Malhotra was never brilliant to begin with so there is no question of ruining 😆 It can only get better from here 😆

There are no directors in Dharma that seem capable of handling a period reincarnation film like Shuddhi. In fact Dharma seems to have no good directors left. 😕

Ayan is still better than the rest, but he seems more interested in chilling with Ranbir rather than making any film. I read his film won't start till the end of 2016. Ridiculous..I'm surprised KJo's not asking him to see if he can make anything else in the meantime.

I dunno what to think of Abhisehk Varman -- I feel like I was the only person who found 2 States super boring whereas the book was a delight. Shashank Khaitan's HSKD was awful. Shakun is ok. Punit Malhotra is out.

No wonder KJo is collaborating so much with others, or trying to get other reputed directors on board with Dharma.
