I think the forum is is pretty unanimous in acknowledging that Aamir is fake. If he truly cared about the show then he wouldn't be charging couple of crores per episode.

For your info, aamir did talk to politicians and govt bodies regarding this. How is this aamir's fault if they failed to keep the promise? Even he was kept in dark.

"Yadav has already provided rs 1 lakh in cash to them and has promised to pay rs 10,000 per month."

Aamir has raised 40 crores donation through SMJ to 3 dozen NGOs. NO ONE REPORTS THIS STORY.
But a person unfortunately dies(which was not even entirely his fault). AND EVERY CYNIC GOES BONKERS.
Why? Because we are living in times when a negative story grabs 100 times more eyeballs than a positive story.

What was the whole point of this TV show that whole of India would sit and watch every freaking sunday and have endless debates and discussion over?
