Watched it... Gripping Plot,,,,,,, Good performance by everyone... Didn't like Ajay's Fat look... Ajay / Tabu just nailed it. Film is having Good Script, but it is presented in bad way. Usually a Sat eve show of a new film is almost houseful, if a big star is thr, wasn't much crowd... not like Ajay's earlier films.

May be by WOM it will improve, a good 1 time watch for sure for it's plot. 3/5.

Gripping plot and the character that Ajay played was 2steps ahead of the police ...good movie .A well written thriller

Watched it last night.. Not really impressed when compared to the Malayalam and Telugu versions...

Mohanlal and Venkatesh were so awesome that Ajay's role felt like he was sleepwalking/acting (And I love Ajay when he does intense roles, here he didn't live up to it)

Meena was really good in both of the versions, I felt Sriya Saran didn't live up to the role..

Tabu's was the best performance...

Drishyam Shows Good Growth On Saturday

Drishyam is set to show good growth on Saturday as collections will be around the 7.50 crore nett mark which will mean growth of around 40%. The two day collections will be around 13.25 crore nett including paid previews. The growth on Saturday is across the board with all territories showing an upward trend.

The Saturday collections will still be low and the two day total of 13.25 crore nett is also not good. The ideal situation would have been huge 60-70% growth on Saturday but nevertheless 40% is also pretty good especially if it can repeat it again on Sunday.

The film has a long way to go with weekdays being crucial as Monday has to come close to the Friday total for it come out with good lifetime numbers. If not then it will join the list of many films where a poor initial has proved to be very costly.

this movie came out of nowhere. i only saw the trailer 3 days ago on tv and couldn't believe it. i don't think it was promoted well, didn't see it anywhere else either. looks very good and gripping kind of movie. lets see

Watched the film today...I already had some idea of the plot so it didnt come as much of a surprise. I think first 1/2 hour was a bit slow. Action starts after Sam dies. The movie remained gripping after that.

Just when I was going to give Ajay a pat for playing a father to a teen...she turned out to be an adopted daughter. 😆Ajay has done better performance wise earlier. Tabu was good. I feel Rajat Kapoor was good too. So were Shiya and the two kids.
