Bajrangi Bhaijaan released and as expected it set the Boxoffice on Fire. Exhibitors and Distributors are very happy to see crowd back to the theaters after long time.

The film was released on huge 4500+ screens and recorded excellent 26.91 crores net number. In North India the film saw crazy number as there was less Pre Eid Effect.

In other territories the film was affected by Pre Eid Period. Still it was excellent in Delhi except of UP, In Rajasthan, CP Berar and CI. But the audience the audience was less than expected in West Bengal, Assam, Orrisa and Ofcourse South India where the film had competition from regional releases. The film was also amazing in Overseas where it earned very good 9.03 crores net on 1st Day. Have a look at business from Overseas Markets.

The Worldwide First Day Total thus becomes 35.94 crores.

The film jumped Big Time on Saturday as at most of the places Housefull Shows were common. In several places like Bengal, Bihar where film was down on Friday it jumped heavily. Don't get surprised if these places give double the numbers of Friday.

As per Early Estimates, Bajrangi Bhaijaan may have a Saturday of 37-38 crores net which means the two day total will be in 64-65 crores range. A 100 crores weekend looks definitely on cards and with the super strong WOM it is getting, first week is likely to be Huge.
