Watched Dil Dhadakne Do, and I was expecting not to like the film thanks to the songs!! But from the time the movie started, I got hooked with the narration and the characters. I actually enjoyed the film except for the last 30 minutes. The movie has its flaws but there is a lot the movie has to offer.
What I liked:
1. Obviously, the narration from Pluto Mehra ;)
2. the performances...PC, Anil Kapoor, Farha and Shefali were top notch.
3.dialogues..had me in splits
4. thought provoking esp. on relationships, gendar biasness etc.

What I didnt like:
1. Anushka..she was not convincing as a dancer. She looked hesitant doing the charleston moves in her intro song. PC danced much better 😆
2. Too many characters..could not figure out who was who till the end.
3. Songs were bad..title song was missing!
4. The climax was abrupt and silly!

since its a Zoya film, comparison with ZNMD is inevitable. However, having said that I really enjoyed the film, not a minute of boredom! Much better than some of the current mindless films! Must watch in the cinemas for the beautiful cinematography :)

It was an okayish film. I liked it but too long for my patience. Acting is pretty good by all but for some reason I loved shefali the most. What surprised me was pc-veer's sibling chemistry. Ranveer looked so boyishly charming, I was a bit drooling throughout 😳 just as someone said, he is as convincing as meterosexual guy as he was village rogue. He will kick more ass with BM as bajirao.

According to addatoday, the budget is around 65-70 cr so to be a Hit, what does the film need to collect?

So I just saw the movie and I'm going to be honest, it was way funnier than I expected it to be. The direction by Zoya was brilliant, she brought out the best from her cast. It was great because literally everyone in the film had a great role. Which is amazing because there were nearly a billion actors in the film, including many of which who were not even well-known actors yet they were given proper roles. To me, the entire Mehra family was brilliant but Anil Kapoor was extraordinary in the film. He should definitely get all of the supporting awards for this film. Farhan's role was minimal but he was okay. Anushka was great in the film, I don't know why people are complaining about her performance. I loved how the situations were real and the characters were relatable. The climax is something else but overall a beautiful message. The movie does test your patience a bit every now and then but it is definitely nothing which can not be over-looked. Overall, a really entertaining family film (literally) which has a great combination of drama and comedy. It's a must-watch.
