It needs to cross 80 crs for semi-hit tag and 100 crs for hit tag.

Whatever it needs to earn, it will earn before HAK. Unless HAK opens huge, it won't affect collections of DDD.

Monday will clearly show where it will go. If it sustains at 7-10 crs on weekdays, it will easily cross 100 crs. otherwise not.

DDD will barely touch 75 crores lifetime it seems. The opening was poor for a movie of this budget and the growth during weekend has been average. Its not carrying a strong WOM, will start dropping massively from Monday onwards. Such a pity considering it had excellent pervormances by almost the entire starcast, especially Ranveer and Priyanka.

hmm...7crore on a week day is tough. because WOM is not that great.. hope it sustains well 😊

Oh dear...this movie is just tooo long. It won't end. Ranveer is hands down the best part of the movie (of course IMO) but his story goes haywire in the second half and then jo bhi bachi kuchi interest thi, it also went haywire. Dude looks hot and absolutely smashing. The disappointed expression he gives when his dad covers up for his lack of proper research during the first presentation was killer. That single shot was enough

Weirdly, I didn't care about any of the other characters as such. Though I liked a few parts here and there...the scene where Anil Kapoor blasts PC over the divorce scene was pretty real. Otherwise it seemed as if the words Forbes etc...were just thrown around for the coolness factor. Pluto was fun but only to some extent.

Overall, it's just so effing long and the length bothers you. At first it looks breezy and happy but soon the reailty dawns upon you. I thought it was some better looking daily soap at many instances.

Oh and special mention to a couple of scenes, the one in which Ranveer makes fun of the pukish night...epuke, Louis Yaaa..., the one in which Shefali gorges on the cake and Ranveer's "Oye tiger, calm down" to Rahul Bose were pretty good. Especially the latter, Ranvir was killer in that one.

One more reason why I wasn't really 'into' to the movie is because I'm back to my home city and watched this movie with friends who were commenting on every freaking thing throughout. So don't know whom to blame here. 😆 And this is probably the last movie I'm gonna watch in theaters ( at least for a while ) 'coz officially my entire money is over. Swaaha! 🥳

I don't think the verdict of the movie will effect/affect (whatever is the right word) Ranveer. He is being unanimously praised, even by those who didn't like the movie...so yeah, things are only gonna get better for him now. Now what will he do if the movie itself is so effing long without enough entertainment. 😆

My review ---


What a beautiful film i saw after a v long time .Story was truly relatable .The characters were so real . It rarely happen in any film where you get so many slice of life moments .DDD is one of them . Zoya just did it again . Her script had overshadowed everyone IMO


Performances-

Ranveer singh- This actor is pure genius .He was living kabir mehra throught the film .He wont disappoint you for a single minute .Whenever he comes to screen you cannot take your eyes from him .Ranveer was quite natural in this .That kind of natural spark last i saw in BBB . He deserves all praise which he is getting .Truly a legendary performance by him IMO


Priyanka chopra- Well claps for this versatile actress and two tight slaps to those who said she is miscast for this film . 😆

She was a pure rockstar here .She clicked well with everyone including mehras , sunnny or even with farah.

Best performance of PC after barfi IMO .


Anil n shefali- I liked them .Their scenes were best . I think shefali has the best dialogues .Anil was star of climax .


Anushka n farhan- These two cannot act bad . They were rarely seen in the film but still you cannot ignore their presence .They were so impactful i swear.


Chemistry- Anushka and ranveer -

Yes yes yes they looked best .Some organic kinda chemistry they share .These two actually dont need any vulgar dialogues or 20 kissing scenes etc etc ...
They just need to come together onscreen and you can just feel their solid chemistry .Ohh i love them...

Priyanka and farhan-

I want these two in a romantic film . Thts what i can say . Quite a surprise package here was their pairing .Nice selection zoya...


Fav scenes-

Anushka- ranveer meeting in swimming pool❤️

That vomit scene 🤣

Hospital scene(Ranveer nailed it waha )👏


All farhan PC scenes (Ohh that kiss was really hot)

Farhan's speech to PC's husband

And last but not the least the helluva climax 🥳 (Anil was amazing in it )


Occupancy in my theater- It was 80 -90 full


Verdict -4 stars ...actually -1 for flop music by jinx trio of SEL lol

12.23 cr is quite bad numbers of second day .100 cr target is missing here .Anyway it should recover its cost atleast .
