Who are 'we' 😆 I personally don't support his bhojpuri spicy masala flicks which gives me headaches for several weeks after watching one. That buddha bhai needs to go to jail asap. 😡

'Dil Dhadakne Do' breaks opening day record of 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' in UAE

Zoya Akhtar's big budget film Dil Dhadakne Do has managed to get cash registers jingling in UAE. In fact, the family drama which stars Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar and Rahul Bose has broken the opening day record of Kangana Ranaut's hit film Tanu Weds Manu Returns in the Gulf. Trade portal Boxofficeindia reported, "Dil Dhadakne Do has taken a good start in the Gulf with day one collections (Thursday) in UAE being $225,000 approx. The best collections this year so far earlier were Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Piku which were around $150,000."

Boxofficeindia further stated, "The film will probably become the first film to hit $1 million in The Gulf. Last year 4 films hit the $1 million mark in Gulf and they were Happy New Year, Bang Bang, PK and Jai Ho. The other biggie Kick was Pre Eid so got hit."

The trade website also predicted that the first day collection of Priyanka and Ranveer starrer should be even better in North America as films with urban content work well in such international markets. If that's the case then its quite likely that Dil Dhadakne Do will end up becoming the highest overseas grosser of the year till now! But for now, lets not assume much and wait for few days to see how the film fares overall.

Business of #DilDhadakaneDo will be so huge in Big Cities that it will compensate the shortfall of single screens & towns.
