SRK is the more versatile and natural actor but he refuses to pick good scripts and make any efforts. Amir has never been a great actor but someone who understands scripts well hence gives off the impression of being the better actor.

I have never really liked Amir's performances in his more popular films. He was brilliant in stuff like Sarfarosh and Dhobi Ghaat IMO.

Shahrukh did some diverse roles in the beginning of his career:

Romantic lead - Deewana, DDLJ

Villain - Darr, Anjaam, Baazigar

Comedy - Yes Boss, Baadshah

Then he just stuck to similar romantic roles.

Now Aamir takes on diverse roles and has established himself as a versatile actor.

So my vote goes to Aamir. He always comes up with something new and out of the box. I really enjoy watching his films and seeing what he comes up with next.

Shahrukh is the better actor.

Aamir has better script choice and films, hence the more responsible actor.

But potential wise, Shahrukh.

The thing with SRK is that he can be the best if he wants to...but he is too engrossed in other things and not giving his best to the movies right now.

I must say SRK!

Aamir is overrated...am not saying Aamir is bad but most of the times, his script sense and movies make ppl sway away ! Aamir has indeed done some impeccable roles! There are lots of his movies which I love...and the only thing good about PK was Aamir... (movie I felt was a poor mix of lage raho and OMG)

But in movies like 3 Idiots n RDB rest of cast were also equally good!

And yes nowadays SRK is doing lots of shit trashy movies...esp ones like Ra.1 which I cant even tolerate for more than a minute or two 🥱 and I seriously long or rather yearn to see a good movie from SRK

But still IMHO I feel its SRK coz I believe nobody could have ever done Kabir Khan of CDI better!

And also I feel SRK has done lots of romantic movies many feel he is good only in romance.. I personally feel he can pull of villain character better!

SRK!
He is versatile, spontaneous, ease and can get into any character.
But his recent movies are disappointing.

whereas Aamir has a better script sense. but I can see the 'perfectionist' on screen. way more practised or like trying too hard to get 10/10. He does great.. no denying.

but I still prefer SRK over Aamir..

Everytime i watch this scene it makes me cry ...both the scenes- in swades and CDI (after winning world cup ) are the most powerful and finest acting examples .

Ofcourse Shahrukh is the better actor when it comes to versatility..From Darr and Anjaam to DDLJ and from Kabhi haan Kabhi naa to Chak De and Swades..the transition clearly depicts what he is capable of if he wants to..

But then I love Aamir as an actor too...his filmography speaks for him and I love the fact that he is genuinely interested in being a part of sensible cinema,making sensible cinema...which SRK is lacking this days..
