She never criticized the fans. She is one of the few sensible members, who does not target or label the fans (or at least I haven't seen it).

Anyone assuming audience is fools or Khan fans are fools should double check their own assumption.

This topic isn't personal. If someone is criticizing the Khan's they have every right to criticize them just like you have every right to defend them.

Quality and "good taste" are subjective. If you want to assume and imply something that has not been specified, then feel free to do so.

Its impossible to watch these current masala movies with kids, whereas in 70s and 80s we watched those relatively harmless masala movies as kids/teens ourselves.

Seriously, masala entertainers have become disgusting in last few years thanks to a few stars who demean and degrade themselves to please/ entertain their audience. Which is what the TM meant by superstars making fools of themselves.

My objection is to such degradation of cinema by including such vulgarity and crudity. Surely they can make movies without going so low.

Its a vicious cycle, the stars degrade themselves to sell movies, their target audiences lap it up, that encourages stars to go lower and lower in aesthetics and decency.

I loved Khans' movies at point. Coz I have grew up watching it.

Last 3-4 times (Bodyguard, Dabangg2, Dhoom3, CE, HNY) We all friends went to watch it coz of the goodwill of Khans. Coz at one point we all loved them. Expecting that they would entertain us again.

What we got was Headache. Crap story. Dragfest.

It's ok to go after BO numbers. But at least revive yourself by doing some meaningful movies for fans like us. Rather They are churning out crap after crap. Disappointment so many times has now become frustration. This is the reason I keep calling them Buddhas. 😆😆 And stupid BO numbers argument is helluva annoying. 🥱
