Look at Anushka .. that face is enough to repel the whole audience away from the theaters ..

Ranbir deserved this .. he was just flying in the air using Kapoor surname .. very much like Kareena did for a while .. both are talented but have no script sense or consistency in terms of acting and no responsibility towards the audience.

I also think they shouldn't have over-promoted the movie. Im sure they all knew that the movie was average, but they over did the promotions and made BV look like some classic. So people were massively disappointed & took to social networks to feel everyone how bad the movie is.

I still think if they had cut short the promotions audience wouldn't be this disappointed with the movie. They would have performed slightly better, but that would have still not been enough.

P.S- The point about Anusha's role. Both DP & Anishka perform best when they play regular women characters. They both suck at looking glamorous. Just my opinion.

P.P.S- Still think that BV was lost at the editing table. If they stuck with one editor and made the movie within a budget of 50-60C it would have worked.

I still dont understand who in their right minds would invest 100+ crs for a movie like this 🥱. Such gross miscalculation...The movie shows no trace of such a large investment

Brains behind dealing with the finances need to be sued.

Disaster or not, what she did to her face is horrible.

She was nice looking. But not a glamorous one.

In All this I am feeling bad for Anu. For this movie, she ruined her face. What a fool.

I just don't get how can filmmakers spend more than 70-80 crore budget on the junior actors like RK, RS, Sid, etc. They are not superstars or such huge starts that they can recover more than 100-150 budgets for sure unless they get really lucky where the story, music, and everything else is perfect and works for the movie. But that's only if and it's rare if their movies will in their beginning 10 years. 70-80 budget should be maximum for their movies if filmmakers are smart enough and not take risks like that.
