I was indifferent towards her even when I liked her acting. Actually I still like her acting, she really is very talented and versatile. She's very ambitious and hardworking. But these days I don't like her personality and her persona.

In her interviews in recent months she seems very aggressive and even very bitter, not to mention fake. I mean her tweet about grocery shopping in the States and "too many choices" for fruits was beyond ridiculous. Her comments about awards, her comments about her American accent, and her goal of fighting racism after having gone through make up and prosthetics to look like a Northeast Indian. I think she's too fake and she and her PR approach everything with this arrogant thought that the general public is too stupid to know better. Like the original claim that she was the first woman every to have an American show written for her. Again, lie!!

I thought she was done after the SRK affairs rumours came out. She was shunned by most of the elite in the industry and she had crossed 30. I thought no way she can come back with all this. If you notice, no one in industry also likes her. Going by the answers of most young gen male actors in KWK, she doesnt seem to be really favoured among them.

But she really surprised me with her performances. So good for her. More power to her. To come back strong after all these odds deserved kudos.

Yeah, that was a really low point in her career. Yes, she brought it on herself but the industry truly shunned her from every side and she has never been popular with the new generation actors/actresses either. I was pretty amused when most of them were ranking her lower. Barfi! was such a major turning point for her. She needed that so very much that I totally got her frustration when she said she felt bad for not winning anything for the film.
