Better Dancer: Aish or Rani? - Page 3

Aish but Rani isnt a bad dancer herself. But no one can match Aish's speed in classicals! And her flexibility when she did the first step in Nimbooda with bending her back. I never saw Rani show that kind of flexibility.

Aish is very good, but I think Rani is terribly underrated as a dancer - so she gets my vote. She wasn't as lucky as Aish to fully showcase her dancing talents with her roles.

Rani is a brilliant dancer, very natural and like many have said underrated in this department but Aish is one of the best dancers Bollywood has seen. Her and Madhuri make you ogle eyed with their dance. How lucky are the audience to witness something like Dola Re?

To be honest I think Aishwarya has an unfair advantage in this category. She's lean and tall and therefore looks much more graceful when she dances. Rani is really short, and not as physically fit so even when she dances amazingly well it doesn't look as good as when Aishwarya dances.

Why is Rani being called a 'random XYZ'?

Need I remind that Rani is almost a million times better actress than Aish? And LOL, check Aish's own flop record at Box Office before calling Rani a 'random XYZ'. Having beauty and a Miss World tag doesn't mean much in Bollywood unless you got acting skills to back it up.

Rani was one of the top actresses in her time while Aish was busy 'churaaoing kheera' and doing flop Hollywood films.

So please, check your facts before calling Rani a random XYZ.

Ummm why has this thread become about how inferior and unsuccessful Ash is as an actor to Rani, rather than comparing their dances... I for one dont find Rani that flawless and perfect as an actor. And Rani has more than her fair share of flops. She did many disasters and mediocre movies during 1999-2002 with the likes of Govinda ,Bobby Deol and Salman. Her career was going through a very difficult phase when Saathiya came along in 2002 and provided a new lease of life to her career. Following 2-3 yrs were her best and she did very well with Chalte chalte, Hum Tum, B and B, Black etc. But after KANK she again started giving flops like Ta ra rum pum, thoda love thoda magic, dil bole hadippa, aiyaa, laga chunri me daag... Who killed Jessica was her only venture worth talking about in that phase. This box office record is far fronlm consistent. And yes while she was very good in some movies, she was also mediocre in many.

Yes Aish has been inconsistent , given bad performances and movies, her choices have been poor, but she also has been able to step up her game and deliver when required, be it HDDCS,Taal, Devdas, Khaki, Raincoat, Guru or Jodha Akbar. She also tried to experiment with her roles without sticking to any particular bannner, some of them worked and some not. So Aish is not that disastrous and incompetent as an actress as made out to be.
