Vidya Balan Turns Down Ajay Devgan's Drishyam

rejected a role opposite Ajay Devgn in Nishikant Kamath's next Drishyam'.

Filmfare reports that she was approached to play Devgn's wife in the film. Apparently both Kamath and Devgn were keen to sign Balan for the meaty part.

The report adds that Balan did not find the role substantial. The role since then was offered to Shriya Saran, who accepted it.

nice move. it is small role. I m sure vidya would have accepted police officer role but then she would have been a mother to teenage son
