So who ever disagrees with Homi is a troll, clearly shows he got no answer since he makes such an absurd statement, he very much knows that the video has backfired and is a disaster.

^ That has got to be one of the most demeaning and distasteful things someone has said in the name of "feminism". The moment I heard that particular quote in the video, all I thought was "This is the story of 95% of Bollywood couples. I can sleep outside of my relationship. No biggie. #MyChoice😊 ."

Promoting infidelity and adultery in the name of "feminism" doesn't do anything positive to portray the "context" of women empowerment. Bollywood personalities think that all people outside of the glamour world are "stoopid gawar idjits" that they don't understand the "context" of their "classy" work. 🥱.

Well people can have sex outside of marriage without committing adultery or infidelity , can't they ? 🤔 .. i am not sure if open marriages are objectionable from a legal perspective though .. 😆

Interesting debate. I'm finding this discussion more thought provoking than the video itself.

The first time I saw the video, and that was before the backlash had started, I cringed at the outside of marriage part. I think the idea behind the video was noble and good. But the execution, or rather the script should have been looked at more closely. I wonder if they almost got too caught up in presenting women as sexual beings that they just went with it, sex with man women, before marriage etc etc.

Yes Homi's reaction that the critics are either trolls or not smart enough is very immature. He can explain his side, but he can also admit that maybe they were wrong or were too short sighted.

True .. but i think since the video was dealing with women empowerment , it was talking about a woman's choice to enter into an open marriage & not care about judgments of the society for choosing to do so.. just as it did with pre-marital sex , homosexuality , bisexuality etc etc ..

Edited - cant be entirely sure though , the video was too flawed & hurried for me to make a proper sense out of it .. 😆 ..may be this Homi should have explained the 'context' of those lines in the video instead of whining about it now.. 😆

Open marriages are a whole other debate though. I doubt open marriage was what they were talking about here. I think they wanted to present women as sexually strong independent beings which is a very factual thing, but they executed it very poorly with their choice of words.
