Yep he was helped a lot. But it was his talent what brought him where he is. B Jr was helped the most since he was Bachchans son, so was Sonam Kapoor & many other star kids. They aren't No1 because they don't have talent. Ranbir was given oppurtunities, and it is his talent that sustained him. Looks are all subjective. I agree that he isn't good looking at all but lots & lots of women find him handsome, very Hot & he dresses very well. He is, very charming too. He was appreciated widely in Saawariya & BAH.

Actually more than one - Sonam, Alia, Sonakshi, Arjun and Abhishek. Its a different story that Alia and Sonakshi (upto some extent) proved themselves.

I think Sonam..most of her decent movies are from ghar ka PH

To a lesser extent-Alia-she was too raw when she was cast in SOTY

Also HR coz he's given his biggest hits with his dad..And Kareena coz she got so many chances

Gah-I guess everyone except AB Jr-who had to deal with being AB Sr's son...and live in that shadow

All of them tbh..Of course you tend to ignore the ones who manage to prove themselves cos well, nothing succeeds like success..But with those who don make a mark, the nepotism becomes more glaringly obvious..Connections have helped an Alia as much as it has helped Sonam if not more..Cos Sonam only gets to produce her own small budget romcoms while Alia gets the best of Dharma films..But Alia managed to get both critical acclaim & commercial success, so we are fine with the nepotism to a certain extent..
