Yea, it was a very touching scene. The guy who played his dad used to play typical villain roles in Malayalam flicks I was surprised to see that side of him in 7G. Very good actor.Climax almost had me in tears as well. I seldom felt the pain of missing someone in a movie like I did with Sonia's character.

Oh yes..That guy who played his dad is a brilliant actor..My other favorite scene is the one after she dies when he lies in the hospital to save her reputation..Tells her dad he kidnapped her & she never really loved him or reciprocated his feelings..I love the way her mom acknowledges him for the first time & touches his head before she leaves..That was such a brilliantly written scene..Its scenes like these which made me appreciate Selva as a director..

After its success, Simbu went onto make another creepy film - Vallavan. 😆 Then the whole Nayan drama.

@ rogerrocks: Anniyan was huge, man! It led to a mad expansion of Vikram's fan.base. I think that's what Shankar and Mani Ratnam's films do ( or used to do), now we can include GVM in that category as well. You do their movie and so many people from diff regions start loving you. 😆
I somehow knew I would end up as a disaster. My heart goes out for Vikram. Why??? 😡

@Scorpio : I agree, Vikram's movies after anniyan were really weird. I enjoyed most of his commercial flicks until Anniyan, God knows what happened to that guy after that. Surya came with Kakha Kakha and Ghajini gave him wings. Honestly, I'm one of those who shifted gears and settled in Surya's fan camp after those two movies. 😆
Don't even compare Ajith and Vijay. I simply dislike Vijay whereas Ajith is one of my most fav actors. 😆

and how much true is that Nayantara was Prabhu dev's wife ? and hansika was simbhu's fiancee na ? and then Aishwarya was simbhu's GF ? Simbhu romanced every female out there in Real 😕

I watched that movie too. And that title song...I used to like it too...the music (not the video) 😆 Man, Reema Sen in that movie, she was down right creepy , she was supposed to be creepy I guess but her creepy possesive act was way too weird. 😆

I loved Jyothika in that manmadhaane song. I agree, the movie was super weird though. 😆

He was brilliant in Anniyan..The stuff he pulled off in the film, especially the climax- such a good actor..I hope he does films which can do some justice to his talent..GVM is good too but not a patch on Mani Ratnam..No one does love stories like Mani Ratman..I know he has been effing up off late but the trailer of OKK gave me hope..I loved it for some reason cos it gave me solid Alaipayudhe vibes 😆 And Dalquer-Nithya are love..They have great chemistry <3

Not wife but they were together for a long time..Apparently he took all the financial help from her for that dancing school he is building & eventually dumped her 😆 Hansika was with Simbhu too but now they have broken up..And yeah, there were strong rumors about Simbhu & Aishwarya at one point..

I started liking Surya after those films as well. Ajith is also one of my favs and love his off screen personality.

Simbu is a weirdo. I heard he records all the hook up sessions with actresses. Even uploaded some audio clip on youtube. Yea, i also heard Aishwarya stories. Apparently, they eloped and Rajini's people picked them up after couple of days.
