I love Anniyan. Bas. Vikram was fantastic in it. I even watch the dubbed version on Zee sometimes, even though the dubbing changes the genre of the movie and turns it into a comedy. 😆

OKK trailer made me sad because it reminded me of Madhavan and Sid , you know the silly feeling that they are being replaced or something like that. 😆

MR is on a diff level altogether. The other day, I was watching Kannathil Muthamittal and i bawled my eyes out during the climax scene when Nandita enters. I don't think any other filmmaker could do that to me. 😆

Nope don think so..The budget was huge right? Its Shankar's worst till date..God knows what he intended to do..Such a horribly made film..I don think much of Shankar as a director tbh..Especially because he splurges so much & makes films on the same concept every single time..But i must admit they are good commercial entertainers 😆

Hey Virus ( I am sorry donno ur name ) , am not pulling it down, im sure irandam ulangam must be a good film too as selvaraghavan isnt somebody whom i would underestimate, what i meant was, that Irandam Ulangam isn't celebrated the same way we do with Kadal Konden or Pudhupettai , i just feel the impact is lesser here.. Dhanush had shot for the film as he was the lead initially, later the film got shelved and Dhanush lost the dates and Selva had to go for Arya ... Anyways, i hope Dhanush and Selva joins hands again for a project ...

About Vikram, i know he is on par with surya if talent is concerned, nd may be better infact having national award too, but its a misery that he still is so underrated

you call me virus i like it i like funny nick name. I am not saying you pulling him down . he is kind of guy who take challenge and do wonder . when the whole dhanush family tried to pack up from this industry . He asked for one chance to prove himself then thulluvatho illamai happen . After that every one said that its fluke and none ready to act in his story kadhal kondaien .Finally he said ok i will do it with my bro i trust my story then kadhal kondaien happen . Then every one siad he can only direct his brother then 7g rainbow colony 200 days with another new comer . Till date he did only a experimental films most of them are critically acclaimed except irandam ullagam .

He started many films many of them got shelved due to various reasons .Dhanush is not in irandam ullagam but in other movie which got shelved . Even Arya was actually started for other movie. Selvaraghavan is a brutal honest guy so he had many problems and he never allow heros to interfere in his script or direction . They did mayakkam enna just bcos they have to do something in a quck span.

Dhanush said in a anegan promotion . After completing the current selva project both going to make another project . He also hinted that they going to try a sequel of pudhupettai .(not yet evaluated it though)

Actually vikram script sense and decision making is too bad . Vikram got national award and surya dont have its the only difference between them . Even though surya did great job in that same movie but vikram got better character .

My Tamil friends said it was a big hit though critics panned it. Last Shankar film I liked was Anniyan. Shivaji was awful, Robot was OK. Haven't seen I yet. Vikram has been unlucky there as well. He works with Shankar and Mani after Anniyan and both of them turn out to be poor films.

And i love the songs too..Its amazing how he pulled off 3 diverse roles & nailed every single expression 😆

OKK made me feel nostalgic too but boy, Dalquer was charming or what..I loved the intro shots & Nithya has a lovely voice..And i already love the bgm..The song in the trailer was classic ARR..So yeah, totally looking forward to it..

Kannathil Muthamittal is a beautiful film..Love how he tackled such a sensitive issue..I love the climax..And the songs..There is a reason ppl love ARR..My absolute favorite is that instrumental piece in the climax when she meets her mom..So poignant..

I love 7G, mostly because of the songs. The songs are classic and were a rage at one point. It's one of Selva's best movies. Kadal Kondein freaked me out. I have watched it only once. 😆

Some of Selva's movies are depressing, not as depressing as Bala's movies though. They are like heights! Except for Pithamagan, I don't think I could watch any other movie more than once.

I think Vikram and Surya are very much popular. In fact, Vikram and Surya's reach is beyond the regions of TN. It extends towards Telugu and Kannada speaking areas as well. I'm not so sure if Dhanush is there yet? Do correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes you are right. But Dhanush reach in north is too big right now also he is spreading well in south.
