I had read here how some member called him out for his idiocy and he blocked his or her ass...😆

P.S: Russell Peters, the stand up comedian...

Ya...that was the member Dabang4life😆...he gave a piece of his mind to Russel and got blocked😆😆Apparently Russel knows how to dish it out but can't take it back😆😆

People have debated AIB on the basis of context. Similarly, one word may have many connotations depending on the context and intent. And if he or anyone feel words display violence, their perspective. As BI mentioned everyone was simply focused the buzzword violent than see where he was coming from...

As for Arpita bit, given his closeness to Sallu and family, it ain't surprising to see he knew what went on that stage...

Words hurt simple..and thus can be violent.

Opinion doesn't mean fact. Morals can be facts depending on the culture. You can't shove other people's opinion down anyone's throat. And this exactly what Aamir is doing. He's attached to Arpita. Someone insulted her on television. There was no need for him to get riled up. He could have spoken to the makers privately before or after the show was aired. Yet, he had to make his emotional moral on everyone's plate. He's a f**king douchebag.

Yeah I know whatever you say and do is from the bottom of your golden heart. You put Mandela & Gandhi to shame.

Oh no I appreciate your input, and even if I don't necessarily agree with them you do bring up good points for all of us to think about.

I found the jokes on Ashish Shakya racist and just wrong. But I laughed at the joke involving Farida Jalal because to me they were making fun of Ranveer Singh and not Farida Jalal. But quite a few people on this bored were seriously offended by use of Farida Jalal's name. So I suppose cultural or societal influences plays a huge part in how we see things and how we even interpret jokes. But despite that, I still wouldn't describe the show as violent because within the context of a roast it wasn't meant to harm anyone.

😆...There are clearly double standards for different actors, the great infallible genius Aamir Khan was told to shut up by Russell, and his devoted followers pounced on him, defending Aamir from his alleged "infringement" of free speech. The same group will think nothing of telling Sonam Kapoor to STFU 😆... poor Sonam, no-one runs to her defense when she's being attacked left, right and centre for the things she says. 😭 😆... if only her films made 300cr, people would give her some credibility. 😆

Yet again, Aamir gets it wrong, to be a target you've got to be the subject of discussion, by no stretch of imagination, were Fareeda Jalal and Reema Lagoo the subject of any jokes, no matter how hard you try to misrepresent the context, the most you could say is that their names were used, that's the extent of it, but that's is far cry from being "targetted".

On the one hand, some people argue that India is a nation full of highly impressionable young idiots who just blindly follow these stars, on the other hand, they defend violence in films by arguing that's it's just fiction. 😆

BINGO...
Yes you may not describe it violent but others who may find it so can...

P.S: +1 to ya as well for standing your ground and involving in a healthy debate. It was fun to read the ping pong replies...😆
