To me the best thing about the Oscars will be Stefanie Germanotta Queen of Genovia. Finally people see that Lady Gaga is a phenomenal musical talent. There is actual raw real talent beneath all the over the top exterior.

I was also sorely disappointed that Kristen Stewart did not get any nominations for Camp X-Ray, Clouds of Sils Maria or Still Alice. I think people need to forgive her for Twilight already. I didn't expect a win, but how hard was it to give her a nomination?

^ I haven't watched any of those so can't say but ummm never thought Stewart was Oscar nomination worthy. And I've watched her other movies & not even one off the Twilight band-wagon.

Zoe Saldana's curves. Gorgeous woman.

If anyone, Emily Blunt not Meryl Streep deserved nomination for Into The Woods. Meryl Streep shouldn't be nominated for just any role.

I agree. That's why so happy she won the ceaser award. As usual her speech was so awkward 😆 but she was darn happy. 😳

She won Ceasars. LOL. Kristen is great! people just hate her for twillight.

Really?! I didn't think she was extraordinarily good. The last thing of hers I really liked was Speak...so I guess maybe I'm not the best judge. 😆

Emily was perfect and deserved the nomination. Meryl got the shoe in just because she is the Great Streep.

Zoe was gorgeous as usual.

I don't think it's just Twilight. I think part of the problem is her attitude. It was reported back during Twilight days that both her and Pattinson refused media training. While Pattinson gets away with it because he's very charming and witty, Kristen doesn't. Every interview of hers, especially print, is riddled with cuss words. Sometimes it seems like she can't finish a thought without dropping several F bombs. She's extremely inarticulate and always stammers. She's not very media friendly and doesn't seem the type to play the games and sell a persona.

There is no doubt she's a great actress. I think she will win something someday. But even though it may be very false, she does come across as someone who has a chip on her shoulder.

Kristen won the Caesar award, so thats one small nod to her.

She is a phenomenal actress. It could be just my taste, but I think she gets far less credit than she deserves.

I think IAmLuvBolly hit the nail. Kristen is a total outsider. She is an awkward and brash person, who doesn't care to be polished or refined to fit in. Oscars has an elitist twinge to it. Even crude ones like James Franco, Seth Rogen and co suit up and play the refinement game. Kristen is still too trashy for Oscars. She needs to play the fit in game if she wants to win. She doesn't have an army of rabid fans like Robert Pattinson.
