The A-list actors arent giving good performances these days
2014- Only Shahid and Aamir
2013-Farhan,Ranveer
2012-Only Ranbir
2011-Only Ranbir
2010- that was the last yr when there was some actual competition among the guys

Finally this year will see some potentially good competition in this category.

Varun Dhawan has already secured himself a nomination for Badlapur.

Akshay Kumar for Baby was well-reviewed too.

Ranbir Kapoor for Bombay Velvet

Sushant Singh Rajput for Byomkesh Bashy

SRK for Fan and (Raees)

Shahid Kapoor for Shaandar and (Udta Punjab)

Salman Khan for Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Ranveer Singh for Bajirao Mastani

are all going to fight it out according to me. Let's see.

varun has delivered - a solid contender he is going to be come awards.

akki has also done a good job in baby- i had zero expectation ..but he surprised me

ranbir -bv - high hopes and yes it is hyped as well..he better deliver and he can and will.

ranveer - bm - same high hopes -eagerly waiting

sushant - the trailer of DBB is awesome and seems like a good performance coming from sushant. win me sushant!

the biggest trophy should go to nawazudin shan. he simply owned badlapur. mann what actor. it will be interesting to see where they going to slot this guy, in which category. he is the main player in badlapur.

this is where it sucks in bollywood...they don't have galls to call out the best actor to character artists.

it should always be the main hero.
