Of course I know "A whole new world" (at least I think I do). It is my karaoke jam, man. A few shots. A few bad decisions. A little bit of reckless abandonment. I'm crooning (or rather croaking). Yeah that's my jam.

Alright this is a sacrilege! I know I know. I should be kicked out of the "Sound of Music" fan club for this unholy damning confession. Yes, I should be doomed to burn in the eternal flames.

Day 11: A song of my favorite singer

To me Asha Bhonsale is a fantastic and most versatile singer ever. Her voice is magical. It bends and conforms to any style and genre of music. She could easily slide between highs and lows.

Day 12: A song from a singer I hate

Ugh! I cannot stand Kumar Sanu. He has the face of a douche bro. He has the arrogant pompous personality. The worst is the weird nasal gravelly quality his voice gets at times. But damn, he has some mighty fine songs under his belt.

Day 13: A song that is a guilty pleasure

Want to know my guilty pleasure? f**k, I don't even feel guilty about it. I am an unabashed consumer of Disney kitsch. I have watched marathons of Hannah Montana, Suite life and Wizards of Waverly Place. Listening to Miley and Selena on radio make me squeal like an excited twelve year old. I sing along and bop along. I take no shame in admitting that I nailed the Miley Cyrus category in team trivia much to the astonishment of a bar full of cool hipster grown ups.

Day 14: A song that no one would expect me to love

Country music is devil spawn. It is the evil work of the devil. Country music makes me want to shoot myself in the brain. I literally gag and feel my soul draining when someone turns on a country station. How the heck do people listen to that honky tonk drivel? Who created country music?

But Blake Shelton, he be fine man. 😳 His songs are also beautiful man. So many are deep, soulful and mesmerizing. Not the usual pickup truck drivel.
