Is Fawad Khan a threat to Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra?

The Pakistani actor is a hot property in Bollywood currently!

To say that Fawad Khan became India's heartthrob almost overnight would not be an exaggeration. The Pakistani actor swept people with his performance as Zaroon in the hit Zindagi show Zindagi Gulzar Hai. He then went on to kill ladies with his oh-so-hot Rajasthani royal act in Khoobsurat. And now every second day you get to hear rumours about him signing all these amazing film projects with actors and directors people in the industry are dying to work with. It would be fair to say that Fawad has earned all the popularity quite earnestly because he is that deadly combo of good looks and great acting talent! No wonder every filmmaker wants to cast him!

Even though the actor hasn't confirmed signing any big project apart from Battle for Bittora, I think he is giving serious competition to the likes of the Varun Dhawans and the Sidharth Malhotras of Bollywood. If I had a penny for every time I heard about a rumour doing rounds regarding him signing films, I would be a millionaire by now. From Udta Punjab to the Amrita Pritam biopic to most recently Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, EVERYBODY wants Fawad but the actor seems to be biding his time and waiting for the big role of a lifetime! Should the young brigade be worried? Of course they should! Mr FK might just be eating into roles they could have been offered.

Despite belonging to the neighbouring country, he's way more adored by fans here than a lot of his other contemporaries are. I think what sets him aside is the enigma around his personality. He hasn't commented on any casting rumours till now and that's what is making his fans more excited about his upcoming films! And his unreal popularity with the ladies is now stuff of legends.

I just hope that Fawad comes out and gives us more clarity on when we will see him next in 2015! Till then, Varun and Sidharth, watch out for this one because he definitely is a big threat!
