Violence begins with violent thoughts then it turns into verbal action and then physical. Violence is not just physical, it never is. Many people don't get physical because they're scared of one thing or the other but have no problem insulting the other person just so they can feel good or are just pissed off.
Bottom line is, its still violence. You're still hurting others specially on a big public platform even if it is, unintentional
😆... your argument is divorced from context and situation, meaning of language depends on vocal expression, tonality, most significantly body language, and most importantly the context and situation one is in. Since swearing is part of language, the same applies here, to dismiss abusive language as violence is ludicrous without a providing a proper context/situation. A bunch of friends abusing each other are not being violent, they don't have violent thoughts about each other, nor malicious intent to harm each other, they're just having a banter and one upmanship. On the other hand, if two people had a car accident, one person gets out of the car in rage waving his arms and swearing at the other guy in a loud aggressive manner, the other guy gets out and responds likewise, then there is potential for violence.
This show falls in the former category, just a bunch of friends who were poking each other, to deem this as violence is beyond stupidity.
