Gurmeet has played the lead in 3 shows in his entire career

For Ramayan I doubt the Sagars would have paid him anything close to Rs 80k per day. Also that Ramayan aired on NDTV Imagine - who were hardly the most generous channel in the industry. In Geet I don't think Gullu paid him that kind of money. Also Geet was on Star One so hardly a big ticket show.

Punar Vivah - here his claim may have some legitimacy. A show on Zee with a pretty decent production house (although I doubt Zee is known for overpaying actors). But Punar Vivah had mediocre TRPs throughout it's run on TV. And after the show ended he never really got another big ticket show and has been bouncing around from one reality show to another.

Ghuma phira kar the point I'm trying to make is that Gurmeet doesn't really have much of a TV career left now. It's not like he can actually have earned crores on TV - who would have offered him that kind of money?
