Thanks for updating the reviews up to now... Interesting read, for the most part. Maybe the film's genre was wrongly promoted, or maybe the film is confused as to what it wants to be. All the fizz of the bottle seems to have been let out during the promotions stage, robbing the thrill out of the 'thriller'... I do sincerely hope Bipasha quits trying to scare and being scared for a while. She needs a break from the genre and so do the audience from her screams.

It also appears that the film has a very limited overseas distribution. There's simply no mention of it screening in my region. So will have to give it a miss, won't be fair to boldly comment on it simply by watching a poor screen rip.

Waiting for my favorite horror reviewer to post his take... His reviews of Bhushan Patel films are... a treat 😳

guyz no offence to anyone here

ksg did try n experiment smethng new smetimes it may nt gve 100% results

v all knw ksg is far more better than mst of BW actors too

n i hav no doubt abt it

n cmng to his character vch is nthng new n had limited potential to actng as it didnt explored ksg actng skills fully

guyz this is his first BW movie u guyz r foregttng that

he got a nice movie under nice banner and opp established actor and his role length is also too gud as per all reviews

so he cnt do everythng in first movie

mst tv actors hav 10-30 min screenspace in their first movies

n alone mei hez lead stepping into BW is imp and gettng recognition vch he got n he was nt that bad too if seen all reviews correctly

Abt genre selection he did try smethng diff in his first movie vch i vl appreciate for his guts to attempt this vch mst establishd actrs cant do

n sayng so lastly all r disappointed coz expectations were more coz of the buzz

this is wat i feel so

Alone and the dubbed version of the Tamil film I have grossed better in single screens than the multiplexes. The collections of Alone are weak at multiplexes while I is a bit better at certain properties and has the better trend as far as multiplexes go.

The business of Alone should be around the 3 crore nett mark for day one which is slightly better than what Creature 3D grossed a few months back but that was a slightly different genre without the sex element. The collections of I in Hindi should be around 1.75 crore nett.

Both films should have done better considering the screen space they got especially Alone but now it is about growth over the weekend which both films may struggle to get the 20-30% jumps they need for respectable numbers.

Just like Candy Crush is a time killer for commuters
Alone on Friday morning was a boredom slayer for
college students out on a mission to bunk a couple
of classes for a LAUGHATHON. And horror-film
veteran Bipasha Basu throws in enough groans
sexed -up glances and a well-stocked wardrobe
of negligee to help TV heart-throb Karan Singh Grover
show off his tattooed muscular arms sculpted abs.

Just when things begin to get dreary , Anjana
enters her sister's body and makes Kabir a
very happy husband. First he is tied to the bed
by what looks like bandage----for woman on
top action.Deep kisses follow in the garden
as and over breakfast !
However, the director decides to play spoilsport
and makes a psychiatrist and a well-wisher
of the family talk sense into Kabir !So does
the family dog with ''extra sensory perception''
Blah !

The film is 100% mindless . And its 100%
entertaining for college goers bunking class.
One just can't help but laugh when a tarot
card reader uses an ordinary deck of cards
or when Sanjana tries to kill a ghost with a knife,
yes the knife that gives Kabir a deep cut on the
sexy muscular arm.
This is world where Bips believes she is a
green thumb at the horror genre. Bhushan
Patel thinks he is better than Ram Gopal
Verma at wielding the director's stick
at ghosts. But its Karan Singh Grover's
hubba-hubba body &Ankit Tiwari- Mithoon's
work in the music department that keep the horror
flick from dying 10 mins into show time .
So if you are a meme maker , you know
what to watch this weekend. And, if you
are the sensible kind , leave Alone ... alone !
