Could it be just an act?

I was just reading an interesting article on actors using the image they are known for to their advantage, they give an example of Leo "the model magnet" lol

And I recently read Anushka's IV on Veer being the quiet guy when no one is watching lol so that basically tells us he knows what people expect of him and does just that. Another example is Salman Khan, if you watch his earlier interviews he seemed more calm and even articulate. Is it possible that he saw how much this bad boy image works and just decided to play along? Of course if you play something for so long you forget your real self so maybe that's what happened with him? Seen as he's a brat when the camera isn't on him.

Besides Maybe Kareena, I think most of these stars just put on an act. Look at SRK He portrays himself as this all collected and confident guy but the stories behind scene say otherwise. From BIs and inside stories we know he's the inscure and calculating type.

So who do you think is real and who is putting up an act? Obviously they all at some point put up an act but who do you think is closest to their real self?

I think they are real initially .. but later when they see that the media/audience r lapping up some facets of their personality.. they kinda start overdoing that...
And thats the point when it starts getting fake, when the actors become "self-aware" about which part of their personality is their USP that is being talked about by everyone..

Yeah I think in the beginning they are themselves unless they came in with a plan and knew how they were going to potray themselve as, like Alia I don't buy the whole blonde thing, yeah she might not be the smartest cookie but I feel it's a bit over played.

Why just actors? Everyone in public life sells an image,no?

Not really I've always knew most of them are fake but I just wanted to discuss which ones are the fakest 😆

Not true, I don't potray myself certain way and be another way behind doors. If you mean you are certain way with your friends and certain way with say your parents, that's not being fake.

People in public life meaning famous personalities like actors,politicians, businessmen. Their value and fame depends on a certain image. Not common people like you and i. Common people don't need to put up an act becuase they are not trying to impress the maximum number of people at any given time.
